And it is essential that you have a Westchester criminal lawyer to represent you if you have a case pending in Westchester. Unlike New York City, which has a centralized court system and one police department, Westchester has over 40 different courts, and nearly as many individual police departments that work with the District Attorney's office in their own way. If your lawyer is not familiar with these nuances it may make it more difficult for her or him to be as effective as possible when representing you.
Our Westchester Criminal Defense Attorneys also have extensive experience representing college students who have criminal charges against them. Seemingly minor charges like Marihuana possession and Petit Larceny can have devastating consequences for college students. These charges can lead to denial of student loans, and even expulsion from school. If you or a loved one is a college student facing criminal charges contact us immediately so that we may help you effectively resolve the case while preserving your ability to complete your education.
